Design and print a selection of festive season cards on the 1845 printing press. Participants will have red, green and black ink to choose from, as well as an assortment of images from our collection. Depending on preference, you can print the same card design multiple times or try out several different designs, with the assistance of our staff. Cookies and cider included.

Sundays are Family Days at the Aga Khan Museum. Families are encouraged to drop into the Museum’s classrooms to participate in hands-on craft activities that change regularly to reflect our special exhibitions and programs. Designed for families with children between the ages of 5 and 12. Adult accompaniment is required. Free with admission to the galleries.

Experience the magic of a Victorian Christmas in an 1859 row-house. Escape the hustle and bustle while you enjoy mulled cider and biscuits in the warmth of the historic kitchen. Discover how families celebrated Christmas in 19th century Toronto as you tour the decorated house. Until December 24, children are invited to write a letter to Santa Clause during their visit. Select a card that has been printed on our 1845 printing press and write a personal message. Drop the card into our magic post box and it will be delivered to Santa.
